September 16, 2016 @ 6:00 pm - September 18, 2016 @ 5:00 pm

25th Annual “Duty-to-God and Country Retreat”

Location:  Columbus Police Dept Training Complex

“A Scout is reverent.  He is reverent toward God.  He is faithful in his religious duties and respects the convictions of others in matters of custom and religion”

Duty to God and Country is an event open to both Boy Scout Troops and Cub Scout Packs where the boys will get an opportunity to learn how “Duty to God” plays an important role in the Scouting program, and will allow them to determine what their faith means to them, and how to utilize their faith in the Scouting movement.   Troops are able to camp all weekend or attend only for the day.  Cub Scouts will be able to attend on Saturday for all the activities.

Activities will include a prayer wall, an in depth look at the Chaplains Aide position for Boy Scouts, a tour of the Civil War Naval Museum plus more!
